IT has been business as usual for Rangers, despite international week, as they prepare for Sunday’s SWPL match away to Spartans.
Midfielder Chelsea Cornet feels it has been important to keep on top of their game as they look to build on the opening day victory against Hearts.
With five Rangers players away on international duty, Chelsea believes this helps inspire the players remaining at the training ground.
Speaking to RangersTV she said: “It has been great to keep on going and keep on top of things. It is important.
“A few of the girls were away internationally and it's important that the rest of us keep on top of our game and are ready for the next league game.
FIXTURES: RANGERS UPCOMING MATCHES HERE
Obviously all of the girls are striving to reach international level so to see that girls in the team are making it and we are training with them week in week out is only going to progress everyone further and I am buzzing for the girls that got to go away.
“Having competition in the squad pushes each individual on the pitch. Every training session you need to turn up and you need to be on your A game. It definitely adds to the tempo and intensity of training.”
