DEFENDER Emma Brownlie has been speaking of how impressed she is by the squad being built at Rangers.
The 27-year-old was one of the first professional players at the Gers and has since witnessed a number of new signings follow in her footsteps.
With the season due to kick-off on October 18th, Emma feels the side are gelling well with many having already known each other from international squads.
She said: “It has been fantastic, I think the difference in standard from when I came in until now is night and day in all fairness.
“I knew at the time that that was in the pipeline and that Rangers were looking to make a big investment in women's football but the squad they have brought together is great.
“I think you feel like you have been together a long time but actually when you look back we've not as a squad played many games together.
“However, it is a good atmosphere and there have been good girls who have joined in terms of personalities - it has helped.
“I think if you have a good group of girls it obviously helps the gelling a lot quicker.
