Everyone Anyone Ambassadors confirmed

Rangers Football Club is delighted to announce Amy McDonald and Nicola Docherty as Everyone Anyone Ambassadors.

We celebrated the one year anniversary of our ground-breaking diversity and inclusion initiative on Wednesday and it will continue to grow and evolve in season 2020/21 and beyond.

The introduction of EA Ambassadors is another important strand to the campaign and we are thrilled to confirm Rangers Women’s and Girls’ Football Manager Amy and Scotland international left-back Nicola as our first two.

Amy commented: “Diversity and inclusion are subjects very close to my heart and I am delighted to play a part in the Everyone Anyone campaign.

“Rangers and the Charity Foundation have worked very hard in the last year to champion equality and diversity and are constantly working to improve attitudes.

“We are a club open to all and I am proud to be involved in an initiative that is built on key messages of tolerance, togetherness and understanding.“

The first 12 months has been encouraging but this is just the start and I know everyone will continue the hard work this season and beyond.

“Nicola and I are very proud to be Everyone Anyone ambassadors. We will do all we can to promote diversity and inclusion at the club and we want to encourage more women and girls to play football.

“Our game is constantly growing and more and more women and girls are watching and playing football every day so we want to keep those numbers rising.

“Rangers is a club open to all, regardless of gender, sexuality, faith, age or ethnicity, and I am delighted to support Everyone Anyone in any way I can.”

Nicola, a lifelong Rangers fan who joined her beloved club earlier this year, added: “It is a great honour and privilege to play for Rangers and I was so happy to be asked to play a part in such a worthy campaign.

“Everyone Anyone has been a huge success in its first year but I know the club will keep working hard to promote diversity and inclusion. I am delighted to do anything I can to help grow the fan base and inspire more women and girls to take up football.

“There is so much positive work going on at Rangers and the Rangers Charity Foundation and we are a club open to everyone.

“Amy and I are delighted to represent Rangers and Everyone Anyone and we look forward to doing what we can to promote diversity and inclusion in the weeks and months ahead.”
