RANGERS are delighted to announce the signing of Sam Kerr from Glasgow City on a pre-contract agreement.
21 year old Sam Kerr, joins the Light Blues having earned full International honours for Scotland, making her full international debut against Ukraine in Spain in 2020. Widely regarded as one of the country’ brightest prospects, the midfielder arrives with a strong reputation and has already won several trophies in her time with Glasgow City.
Head Coach, Malcolm Thomson commented on Sam Kerr: “We are delighted to secure the services of Sam who has always been a key target for us. We see her as an exciting and dynamic midfield player with huge potential given her age and she was always one of our main targets since we commenced this new project.
“With all of our new experienced full-time staff combined with the completely full-time high performance environment we have, a first for Scotland, we believe Sam will embrace this and thrive for both Rangers and her country.”
