"Firstly congratulations to Motherwell for the win on Sunday. I'm sure they are fed up hearing they are an experienced side, but they are more than that. They are a good side, with good players and they are where they are in the league more than on solely relying on experience.

From our point of view, I have to congratulate the players for the effort they put in on Sunday. Being restricted in numbers available meant that we had our hands tied when it came to us making positional changes through the match.

The effort and commitment was great however, and the players' reaction to the defeat showed just how gutted they were to lose considering the effort they had put in.

Knowing we have 8 players to come back into the squad it is only going to make us stronger going forward".

"His side could have performed better on Sunday but he was still happy with the victory".
