The draw for the FIFA World Cup qualifying group stage was made today in Nyon.

 

 

 

GROUP 1

 

England, Russia, Wales, Bosnia-Herz, Kazakhstan

 

GROUP 2

 

Switzerland, SCOTLAND, Poland, Belarus, Albania

 

GROUP 3

 

Norway, Netherlands, Republic of Ireland, Slovakia, Northern Ireland

 

GROUP 4

 

Sweden, Denmark, Ukraine, Hungary, Croatia

 

GROUP 5

 

Germany, Iceland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Faroe Islands

 

GROUP 6

 

Italy, Belgium, Romania, Portugal, Moldova

 

GROUP 7

 

Spain, Austria, Finland, Serbia, Israel

 

 

Matches will be played home and away from 11 September 2017 to 4 September 2018

 

The 7 group winners will qualify to join FRANCE in the finals.

 

4 Runners-up with the best records against the sides 1st, 3rd & 4th in their groups will go into the play-offs which will be held over 2 rounds of 2 legged knockout ties in October & November 2018 in Nyon.

 

Play-off Semi-Finals will be held 1 - 9 October 2018

 

Play-off Finals will be held 5 - 13 November 2018

 

Final Draw will take place late November 2018

 

Finals will be held in the summer of 2019 in France
